Can I use StudyUnplanned as an app on my phone?
Yes. StudyUnplanned works as an app you add to your home screen straight from your browser — no app store needed. It opens full screen, has its own icon, and stays signed in. Follow the steps for your phone below.
Android — install from Chrome
- 1Open Chrome and go to studyunplanned.com.
- 2Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- 3Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app).
- 4Tap Add or Install to confirm. The StudyUnplanned icon now appears on your home screen and opens like any other app.
iPhone — install from Safari
- 1Open Safari and go to studyunplanned.com. (On iPhone, home-screen apps must be added from Safari — the option is not available in Chrome.)
- 2Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen .
- 4Tap Add in the top-right corner. The StudyUnplanned icon now appears on your home screen and opens full screen like an app.

Is StudyUnplanned free?
Yes. Joining study sessions and the whole Member Area — Calendar, Timetable, Assignments, Notebook, Diary, Sticky Notes and Messages — are free. The Member Plan (€1/month or €10/year, with a 30-day free trial) adds hosting paid groups, shared notebooks and attachments.
Do I need an account?
You can browse public study groups without an account. You sign in with Google or email to join sessions, host groups, and use your Member Area.
